Air up faster with our High Flow Chuck!

While most standard clip on or or push on chucks only open the Schrader valve about 50%, our High Flow Chuck was designed to open the Schrader valve 100% which means more air flow allowing you to air up faster.

The High Flow Chuck was optimized to work best with our Rapid Precision Valve but still works great with standard Schrader valves.

NOTE: This air chuck will NOT work with multi-hose air down/up systems, which require a closed flow chuck. The Apex High Flow Chuck is OPEN FLOW.

SIGNATURE FEATURES

  • OPEN FLOW Design
  • The components are made to last a few lifetimes. The black part is 4140 chrome moly steel that’s heat treated and subjected to QPQ salt bath nitrocarburizing so it won’t rust (same stuff they use on military firearms). The other parts are stainless steel.
  • This is an open flow design for single point air up. It’s designed for the maximum amount of air flow by pushing the Schrader core ALL the way in. Most only achieve 50% or less.
  • It has a metal sealing seat so it won’t wear out. It’s also a thread-on design instead of a fussy push-on design. It takes a few more seconds to attach, but so does trying to get a push-on design to seal properly. This chuck will work flawlessly for decades.
  • It opens the Schrader valve exactly the same amount each time so there is no variability on air flow. Most chucks depend on how hard you push for airflow.

I LOVE APEX PRODUCTS BUT...

REASON FOR THE 3 STAR REVIEW IS CAUSE I HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS SINCE I HAD THE ARB CHUCK AND AIR WOULD LEAK, AND SWITCHED OUT FOR APEX AND STILL EXPERIENCED SOME KIND OF AIR LEAK. ALSO 3 STARS CAUSE IT DOESNT COME WITH ANY INSTRUCTIONS OR SUGGESTIONS/RECCOMENDATIONS ON HOW TO SEAL THE THREADS AS THE ARB CHUCK CAME WITH SOME KIND OF LIQUID TYPE THREAD SEALANT.
WOULD I RECCOMEND IT YES. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO ALOT OF RESEARCH OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE ON SOME KIND OF PNEUMATIC THREAD SEALENTS ETC.

The leaky tiki valve... That's what I'd call 1 of the 4 on my set.

Rated 3 stars because only 3 out of the 4 work reliably. 1 always wants to leak slowly. I figured it would happen due to the exposed design. To be fair, I haven't reached out to apex to get it sorted out because I simply took it off to resolve the issue. Otherwise they work pretty well. Just don't get em dirty I guess...

Hi Miguel,

We are sorry to hear you are having issues with one valve. If you had contacted us, we would have been able to troubleshoot with you. If the RCVs are leaking you will need to make sure the end of your valve stems are in good condition and free from nicks, scratches, or dents. The tip/end of your existing valve stem acts as the seal seat between the RCV and the valve stem. If the tip of the valve stem isn't in perfect condition, it will cause a leak between the two surfaces. To remedy the leak simply use a fine grit finger nail file and file out the imperfections on the end of the valve stems that are having issues. Be sure to take your time and file nice and square. After you have reinstalled and confirmed the leaks have stopped, remove the valves one last time and reinstall using blue Loctite. Please feel free to email us with any other questions or if you need additional assistance. We are happy to help. Thank you for your business.
