Finally! A high quality sway-bar disconnect for the Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, FJ and GX. The APEX kwikLYNX allow you to easily disconnect and reconnect your sway-bar for off-road use. Doing so greatly improves your overall ride quality and off-road experience.

For Toyota/Lexus models:

  • 4Runner | 2003 - 2024 (4th & 5th Gen)
  • Tacoma | 2005 - 2023 (2nd & 3rd Gen)
  • FJ Cruiser | 2007 & Later
  • GX470 | 2003 - 2009
  • GX460 | 2010 & Later  

IMPORTANT! KWIKLYNX CAN BE ADAPTED TO THE GX460 BUT THE FACTORY KDSS SYSTEM MUST BE REMOVED. MUST SOURCE A REGULAR GX470/4RUNNER SWAYBAR TO USE IN PLACE OF THE KDSS SWAYBAR.

  •  If your vehicle is equipped with a TRD skid plate it will need to be trimmed to clear the air link.
  • If installing with uniball stye upper control arms, you will need to install using a M14x1.5 bolt. USE ONLY GRADE 10.9 BOLT! Bolt must not extend more than .900" from the bottom of the spindle surface.
  • Not compatible with aftermarket spindle gussets

Great Product, Great Instructions

These things are super well made and very easy to use. Install wasn't terribly difficult. I already had all of the tools, so that made things easier. Follow the instructions and you shouldn't have issues! One thing to note: the installation instructions are all for the driver side. I did the passenger side first, and got turned around a couple times while re routing the ABS line. Aside from that, install was a breeze.

The truck handles great now!

Not an easy install but it was totally worth it! Sway-bar on and truck handles amazing, sway-bar off a you’ll have all the flex and a better ride.

Excellent kit, looks nice, too!

I'm a skilled amateur. Hardest part was drilling the sway bar. After that it was just a matter of carefully measuring and following the instructions. No change when driving connected, significantly better articulation when disconnected. Really well put together Kit and instructions. Take your time with the ABS wire re-routing and watch the video about 12 or 18 times before starting. Had to trim off the unthreaded bit of the UCA bolt to get down to .9". No mods required for RCI front skid.
