Finally! A high quality sway-bar disconnect for the Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, FJ and GX. The APEX kwikLYNX allow you to easily disconnect and reconnect your sway-bar for off-road use. Doing so greatly improves your overall ride quality and off-road experience.

For Toyota/Lexus models:

  • 4Runner | 2003 - 2024 (4th & 5th Gen)
  • Tacoma | 2005 - 2024 (2nd & 3rd Gen)
  • FJ Cruiser | 2007 & Later
  • GX470 | 2003 - 2009
  • GX460 | 2010 & Later  

IMPORTANT! KWIKLYNX CAN BE ADAPTED TO THE GX460 BUT THE FACTORY KDSS SYSTEM MUST BE REMOVED. MUST SOURCE A REGULAR GX470/4RUNNER SWAYBAR TO USE IN PLACE OF THE KDSS SWAYBAR.

 - If your vehicle is equipped with a TRD skid plate it will need to be trimmed slightly to clear the air link. The trimming required is not major.

 - Not compatible with aftermarket spindle gussets  

- If installing with uniball stye upper control arms, you will need to install using a M14x1.5 bolt. USE ONLY GRADE 10.9 BOLT! Bolt must not extend more than .900" from the bottom of the spindle surface.

Whoever designed this is a mad genius. Super well thought out. Easy to remove and reattach even when the truck is off-camber.
One of my favorite mods. Thank you for building such a high quality disconnect!!!

Great quality kit

Just finished this install. The quality of the parts in this kit is excellent!! Directions are pretty clear for the most part, but with the videos available online, it’s a straight forward install. Really happy, but still need to get it on the trail!! FYI, if you have Budbilt Skids, you’ll have to modify the front driver side to clear the air cylinder. Also noticed some minor contact between the sway bar and transmission lines along the front of the frame. The brackets for the lines can easily be bent up enough to clear.

First use offroad

I finally had the chance to get off road and test out the kwikLYNX system and I must say it's a piece of cake to use. I also noticed the extra articulation when disconnected so they seem to do the job. I'm not running extended travel shocks and struts but you can notice the difference. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.
