The Apex Precision Pressure Gauge provides precise pressure read outs every time with accuracy you can count on.

0-40PSI gauge - Designed with accuracy in mind for lower off-road pressures. This gauge is optimized to be extremely accurate between 0 and 40PSI. It offers a large gauge face that is very legible for fine tuning off-road pressures. Best used with C and D load range tires.

0-90PSI gauge - This is the gauge you want for your tow vehicle and trailers. It was designed to be extremely accurate for pressure above 40PSI. Best used with D and E load range tires.

PERFORMANCE:

  • +/- .5PSI accuracy and .05 PSI repeatability
  • -30 to 175F use range

FEATURES:

  • Fluid filled to resist shock and vibration typical in off-road use
  • Stainless Steel Construction
  • Hard coated 6061-T6 Aluminum
  • Numbers and needles are phosphorescent (glow in the dark)
  • Swivel joint
  • Atmospheric vent to equalize pressure & compensate for elevation change
  • Hose may be trimmed shorter or lengthened by purchasing longer hose. (sold separately) - Click here to purchase
  • May use 1/4 NPT fitting for use with other chucks. Click here to purchase

It's not all looks

I saw this on the website and read the reviews. It sounded all good, so I went ahead and purchased one for myself. When watching the operational video, the guy makes like the gauge is all that. I think you need to have the air down valve stems to make this work correctly. When I screw it on to check the pressure and then unscrew it to remove it, I lose air. This can be a problem if you are aired down to 5-8 pounds. I like the design, the large readings on the gauge, and the ruggedness. Not sure if I will continue to use or give it to someone who does not air down and needs the accuracy.

Hello Shawn - thank you for your feedback. The small amount of air lost while removing the chuck is not enough to affect accuracy. It would take over 40 seconds to change less than 1 psi on a small tire. If using a large off road tire, even more time. Also the lower the starting tire pressure, the less air can be forced out in a few seconds. Our best guess on a 35” tire - you're looking at a pressure loss of .01 psi. Or 1 tenth of one psi. The variability of tire pressure just due to temperature is around 3-4 psi.

We would like the public to have an educated explanation of this design.
